The UN Global Compact is a voluntary, international initiative to mobilize the power of businesses. As a member of the Global Compact, Catena is committed to acting in accordance with ten universal principles for human rights, the environment, labor law and anti-corruption. We have a strong commitment to society and through the Global Compact we take our responsibility together with companies and organizations around the world.

In line with the Global Compact and within the framework of Agenda 2030, we have identified nine sub-targets among the global sustainability goals where Catena's operations have a greater impact:

Target 5.5
Ensure full participation for women in leadership and decision making.

Target 7.2
Increase the share of renewable energy in the world.

Target 7.3
Double the increase in energy efficiency

Target 8.8
Protect worker's rights and promote a safe and secure working environment for all.

Target 9.4
Upgrade all industries and infrastructure for increased sustainability.

Target 11.6
Reduce the environmental impact from cities.

Target 13.1
Strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate related disasters.

Target 16.5
Substantially reduce corruption and bribery.

Target 17.17
Encourage effective partnerships.

We report the work we do to live up to the initiative directly to the Global Compact and in our latest Sustainability Report.
