Catena to conduct additional construction at Logistics Position Tostarp in Helsingborg

Catena is investing SEK 124 million in the new construction of a further logistics facility at Logistics Position Tostarp in Helsingborg.

In the best signage location, adjacent to the E6 motorway in Helsingborg, Logistics Position Tostarp has for a long time been established as one of Sweden’s most prominent logistics hubs. Catena already maintains beneficial partnerships at the site, with tenants including PostNord, Freja Transport & Logistics and Nowaste Logistics. By constructing an additional logistics facility of approximately 15,000 sqm, Catena can make full use of the remaining building rights for the Plantehuset 3 property.

“We have already signed a letter of intent with for the new buildning with Nowaste Logistics, an existing tenant in the area. We can affirm that Helsingborg is extremely attractive as a logistics location and demand is constantly rising for sustainable and efficient warehousing and logistics facilities, both in the region and at the site.” says Göran Jönsson, Catena’s Regional Manager for Helsingborg.

Catena has stated environmental objectives, entailing the new facility being certified in accordance with the Miljöbyggnad Silver environmental construction standard and being prepared for a photovoltaic system on the roof.

Construction is scheduled to commence in October-November 2021 and moving in is being planned after the summer 2022.
