Green roof on steep slope at Logistikposition Ramlösa

At Logistics Position Ramlösa, a 1,900 square metre sedum roof has been installed at a 28.5-degree slope – a clear example of how sustainability is integrated throughout the project.

In Helsingborg, Logistics Position Ramlösa is taking shape – a modern logistics facility where both people and the environment are given space. We’ve now installed approximately 1,900 square metres of sedum roof here, on a slope as steep as 28.5 degrees. It’s a clear example of how sustainability is embedded in every part of the project.

The property will be certified according to BREEAM Excellent and NollCO2. As the first project in Sweden to be registered under BREEAM’s new v6.0 manual, we aim to set a new standard for sustainable development.

Benefits of green roofs

Sedum roofs, also known as green roofs, contribute to a more sustainable building in several ways. They manage rainwater directly on the roof, helping to reduce pressure on the drainage system during heavy rainfall. At the same time, they improve air quality and create habitats for pollinators and other insects – strengthening biodiversity in the area.

They also help regulate indoor temperature, which can reduce energy use. By protecting the roof membrane from UV radiation and weather exposure, they also help extend the roof’s lifespan.
