Catena has constructed a new logistics facility on an existing development right on Catena’s property Mappen 4, located just east of Linköping with close access to the E4 motorway. The building comprises 9,800 sqm and will be certified according to BREEAM Excellent and NollCO2.
Catena has signed a 10-year lease agreement with San Sac, a company that supplies equipment systems for waste sorting and waste management. The company is owned by the international operator Sulo, headquartered in France.
Upon completion, approximately 13,500 sqm of additional building rights remains on the property.

In April 2025, a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony was held for San Sac’s future headquarters and warehouse in Linköping.
The groundbreaking was carried out by Jörgen Eriksson, CEO of Catena, together with Stefan Danesand, CEO of San Sac, Marcos Carlsson, CFO and Office Manager at San Sac, and Olle Saanum, Purchasing Manager at San Sac.
As a tribute to the squirrel in San Sac’s logo, we also planted a symbolic oak tree.
