Logistics position Landvetter
The area around the Landvettermotet motorway interchange has potential to become one of the country's foremost logistics hubs. The location is optimal for transhipments of products and goods supplying in part the Gothenburg region and in part the rest of the Nordic region, with nearby access to both the airport and port.
Catena's ambition is to build high-profile logistics facilities at site with high demands on the architectural expression and sustainability.
Menigo is the first tenant at Logistics Position Landvetter
The new building will have a floor area of 42,250 square meters and includes refrigerated storage, freezer storage, and office space. The sustainability standards are high—the facility is being certified according to BREEAM Excellent, and a range of measures are planned to support biodiversity in the area. Catena has signed a lease agreement for the facility with Menigo Foodservice, one of Sweden’s most established food distributors.

MM Sports, one of the Nordic region’s largest suppliers of dietary supplements, has signed on for the next phase, which will see another logistics facility built in close proximity to Menigo
Reduced CO2 footprint with a wooden frame
The projects at Logistikposition Landvetter are subject to ambitious sustainability requirements, with the goal of achieving BREEAM Excellent environmental certification. The certification places high demands on the entire production process, especially when it comes to material selection. As a result, the structural frames are being built using glulam (glued laminated timber).
