Conversion to geothermal heating

In 2018, investments were made in the Solsten 1:102 property in Gothenburg, where Oriola is a tenant. Converting from district heating to geothermal heating with drilling of 26 energy wells, reduced energy consumption by 980,000 kWh per year and an annual saving of approximately SEK 750,000. This means 78 percent lower energy consumption than the current requirements of the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning and considerably less environmental impact.

Nothing has been left to chanse when implementing these energy efficiency measures. Together with Oriola, we are ensuring that the facility has optimum energy solutions fully meeting the needs of the operations and that they are truly sustainable over time.
